Culinary demonstrations, all day feasting, wine tasting and quality produce from London’s largest number of artisan producers and purveyors of French regional specialities. A total of 22 French traders will sustain revellers all day and into the evening, at the festival finale party: the Bal Populaire.
Resident Chef Hayley Edwards will create culinary delights from a classic French repertoire using seasonal ingredients and specialities from the Market’s French traders.
French culinary specialities include escargots, duck confit, foie gras and saucisson, Bastille Day Special: confit de canard rillets.
Traditional Gallic specialities include regional pates and terrines, mustards, vinegars, cassoulet and confit.
Spectacular wheels of Comte cheese made in the Doubs and Jura areas and matured in the Fort Saint Antoine.
